Mr Gould

Mr Gould was a music teacher at Harcourt High and once told off Elena Hickson in band practice which happened at lunch.

"Finally Mr Gould, the music teacher, snapped: 'Elena, what is the matter with you?'"

Quartet

The quartet he conducted was playing three tunes in the charity event at Thornleigh town hall. One of these was Grieg's 'Solvieg's Song' from Peer Gynt in which Elena played a solo on her cornet. Anne-Marie was a clarinettist in the band.
